Built a secure, remotely operated garage door system from scratch: a Raspberry Pi Pico W drives relay actuation, an ESP8266 with MPU-6050 accelerometer reports live door state over WiFi, and a Flask service on a Raspberry Pi 4 fronts it with PIN auth, brute-force lockout, and session-gated trigger enforcement, exposed via Cloudflare Tunnel with no open ports.
